nor do I ask forgiveness for him
from sheriff, judge, or whatever gods there be
whatever penalty he has earned
make sure he gets that
in full
for every life taken
for every body damaged
and if we must drag it out for years
to make sure he has exhausted every appeal
then take your time
but in the end
make an end
however we do it then
when he is gone
maybe I’ll forgive him then
so long as you gods do not
