brothers and sisters:
write you a poem that wrings language within an iota of its life, pare out the softnesses you included accidentally, appreciate a brother or a sister, appreciate somebody's work, appreciate one of your own poems, dig down to what pulled you into poetry first, then dig deeper. when you find the pearl, stop, admire, write that!
